Cotton College (now a University) Completes 120 Years in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Cotton College (now upgraded as a university) completed 120 years on Thursday. It was inaugurated on March 27 in 1901 with Frederick William Sudmerson as the first principal with 39 students. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "My Alma Matter Cotton College, now Cotton University, grows 120 years young!"
