Flood scene improves across Assam during the last 24 hours

GUWAHATI: The overall flood situation across Assam improved during the last 24 hours with only the Brahmaputra flowing above the danger level at Neamatighat in Jorhat. As on Saturday evening, the affected population was 6,435 people in Dhemaji, Baksa, Kokrajhar, and Morigaon districts, stated the daily bulletin of ASDMA.
