Massive Covid vaccination drive launched in Assam

GUWAHATI: The Har Ghar Dastak 2.0 campaign commenced in Assam today to ensure complete Covid-19 vaccination of all eligible beneficiaries from 12 years of age and above. The door-to-door campaign will continue till June 20.

According to health department figures, so far 2.42 crore people have been administered the first dose of the Covid vaccine while 2.07 crore people have taken the second jab and 4.82 lakh have taken the precaution dose. The Har Ghar Dastak campaign 2.0 will focus on vaccinating those who are yet to take the second dose of vaccination and those who have not yet taken the precaution dose.

The Har Ghar Dastak campaign 2.0 was launched by State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta at the TC Government Girls' HS & MP School in Guwahati.
