More relaxations in Kamrup (Metro), new SOP released

GUWAHATI: The State Government bought some modifications in the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) set for implementation from Monday. In Kamrup (M) district sops, other business establishments and offices will remain open till 4 pm, and the curfew will be from 5 pm to 5 am.

The other districts to have a curfew from 5 am to 5 pm are South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaideo and Hailakandi.

Morigaon, Biswanath and Goalpara districts, besides the Bokakhat subdivision, will have a round-the-clock curfew.

Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Barpeta, Nalbari, Baksa, Bajali, Kamrup, Darrang, Sonitpur, Nagaon, Hojai, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Tinsukia, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Cachar, Karimganj, Karbi Anglong and Dibrugarh districts, besides Golaghat and Sorupathar subdivisions, will have a curfew from 2 pm to 5 am.

The suspension of inter-district transportation will continue. Intra-district movement of buses is allowed with a 50 percent seating capacity.
