GUWAHATI: The seat-sharing arrangements of the Congress-led 'Grand Alliance' will be finalized by February 15, said AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) general secretary Haider Hussain Bora.

The Congress has forged the 'Grand Alliance' with the AIUDF, the CPI, the CPI (M), the CPI (ML), and the Anchalik Gana Morcha.

Bora further said, "The AIUDF has been discussing the seat-sharing arrangements and other issues with all the allied partners, except the Congress till date.

"We will have discussions with the Congress on February 9 and 10. The AIUDF will ask for 30 to 35 seats from them. In some constituencies, the Congress and the AIUDF may opt for friendly contests. The overall seat-sharing scenario is likely to be clear before February 15," he added.
