GUWAHATI: The State Government on Friday promoted several
Assam Police officials. Kamrup Superintendent of Police Partha Sarathi Mahanta has been promoted to the
rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police. Mahanta will function as the Joint
Commissioner of
Police (Administration, Security & Intelligence, Traffic),
Guwahati.
