Dispur Orders Eviction of 11 Encroachers in Sarusajai Village

GUWAHATI: The Circle Officer, Dispur Revenue Circle, has issued a notice to 11 individuals who encroached upon government land (Daag Numbers 23, 24 and 40) under Sarusajai Village in Beltola Mouza in the Kamrup Metro district, asking them to vacate the land within ten days after receiving the notice.

According to the notice, the 11 individuals erected houses, shops, godowns and concrete walls on the government land.

The Revenue Circle Officer said that if the encroachers do not vacate the land within ten days after receiving the notice, the department will have to evict them as per the Assam Revenue Rules.
