Guwahati: Dumper Kills One Person at New Saraighat Bridge

GUWAHATI: A person was killed after being hit by a speeding dumper truck at the new Saraighat Bridge. The deceased has been identified as Bhogeswar Sinha Das, a resident of Pandu Sadilapur.

The deceased was a security guard at a company in Aminigaon. Bhogeswar was riding his cycle towards Aminigaon when the speeding dumper truck hit him, resulting in his death. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. The driver of the dumper truck has been arrested, and the vehicle has been seized.
