Guwahati: Summer Hobby Camp 2025 begins at National Science Centre

Guwahati: With the onset of summer vacations and schools closing for the break, the National Science Centre, Guwahati has announced its Summer Hobby Camp 2025. Organized by the Innovation Hub, the camp is being held throughout the month of July. This will offer the students an engaging and productive way to spend their holidays.

Speaking to The Sentinel, the education officer of the National Science Centre said, “With prior consent from parents, students will be taken for an educational excursion to IIT Guwahati on July 31.” He also informed that all sessions will be conducted by the Centre’s education officer along with experienced resource persons, ensuring high-quality and interactive learning.

The camp began with Creative Art & Craft (July 1– July 5) for students of Classes III to V. This will be followed by 3D Designing & Printing and AI & Robotics (July 6–July 10), open to both junior and senior groups. Starlight Adventures (July 11–July 15) will ignite interest in space among students of Classes VIII to X.

From July 16–July 20, the camp will offer Fun with Electronics & Robotics (Classes IV–VII) and Robotics with Arduino (Classes VIII–July X). Two advanced-level AI Boot Camps for junior and senior categories will run from July 21–July 25. The final session, Science with Creativity (July 26–July 30), is designed for students of Classes IV to VI.
