Guwahati: Water supply disruption due to leakage rectification work in city

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply today, with a continued interruption expected on February 26, 2025. The affected areas include Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Path, Chitrachal Path, Happy Villa, Beltola, and surrounding localities.

The water supply suspension is due to necessary leakage rectification work being carried out in Joypur. The GMC has requested residents in the impacted areas to make alternative arrangements and has assured that normal water supply will resume once the repairs are completed.

Consumers are urged to bear with the inconvenience, and the GMC appreciates their understanding as they work to resolve the issue.
