One sustains burn injuries at Dhirenpara in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A brawl between two friends allegedly resulted in one of them sustaining burn injuries. The incident took place on Tuesday at Dhirenpara under Fatasil Ambari PS in the city.

Two friends - Amjad Ali and Utpal Boro- had a fight and in a fit of rage, Utpal Boro allegedly threw some liquid over Amjad which burnt him. Amjad was admitted in Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) while Utpal is absconding. Amjad's family has lodged an FIR.
