Social Justice and Empowerment Department Forms New Board of Directors for ASDC for OBC Ltd

GUWAHATI: The department of Social Justice and Empowerment has constituted the Board of Directors of Assam State Development Corporation (ASDC) for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Ltd. for a period of two years. According to the notification, Surabhi Rajkonwari has been appointed as the chairman of the board. The directors of the board are Pranab Kumar Sarma, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment; Dr. Kulashree Nath, Director, Welfare of SC&BC, Assam; a representative from Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprise Department; a representative from Finance (PRU) Department; the Managing Director of National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC); and the Managing Director of Assam State Development Corporation (ASDC) for OBC Ltd.
