SSB ‘G’ Company Hosts Mini Marathon in Guwahati to Promote Patriotism and Unity Under Har Ghar Tiranga

GUWAHATI: The ‘G’ Company of the 1st Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Hojai, organised a Mini Marathon and Patriotic Run under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign on Thursday. The event was held under the guidance of Commandant Sunil Kaushik. Inspector (GD) Mukesh Kumar Meena, Company Commander of ‘G’ Company, and District Sports Officer Dipraj Sonowal flagged off the marathon, urging participants to promote patriotism, unity, discipline and a healthy lifestyle.

After the marathon, the top three finishers were awarded trophies, while all other participants received medals. Addressing the gathering, Meena highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in promoting respect for the National Flag and national unity, and appealed to citizens to hoist the Tricolour with pride and contribute to nation-building.

The participants also took a pledge reaffirming their commitment to the nation. The programme concluded with the National Anthem and a friendly volleyball match to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship.
