Guwahati: In a significant stride toward student empowerment and academic excellence, Dispur College organized two landmark events on July 7 and 8, reinforcing its growing role as a catalyst for leadership development and career readiness among youth in Assam.

On July 7, the Career Development and Industry Relations Cell (CDIRC-DC) of the college signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Takshashila School of Civil Services (TSCS), Guwahati, to launch the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Comprehensive Coaching Programme - 2025. This flagship coaching initiative aims to mentor and prepare students from across Assam for careers in the civil services.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Navajyoti Borah, Principal of Dispur College, and Sutibra Malakar, Deputy Director, CDIRC-DC, on behalf of the college. TSCS was represented by its CEO Tulsipriya Bordoloi and general manager Santosh Kumar Singh.

The 10-month programme is designed to benefit meritorious students with focused coaching and mentoring. A rigorous screening test for the programme was conducted on June 13, attracting around 75 candidates from diverse institutions across the state.

Continuing the momentum, on July 8, Dispur College's Internship and Apprenticeship Cell, in collaboration with the University Relations Cell of Assam Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (AEDC), hosted the Induction-cum-Onboarding Ceremony for the AMTRON Internship Programme (Mass) - 2025 at the P.B.P. Auditorium of the college.
