Teen beaten up by group in Lalganesh playground; nine identified

GUWAHATI: In a shocking incident in the Lalganesh area, a teenage boy was mercilessly assaulted by a group of around ten to twelve teenage boys, leaving him seriously injured and fighting for recovery in the hospital. The victim had been playing on a local playground when the group allegedly surrounded him mid-game and began beating him up without provocation, according to local sources.

The brutal attack left the boy with severe injuries, prompting an urgent rush to the hospital, where doctors are closely monitoring his condition. His distressed parents have made an emotional appeal to the police, and an FIR has been lodged demanding strict action and the immediate arrest of all those involved in the assault. So, far the police has identified nine boys in connection with the case. Accoding to police source, the gang has been involved into a school fight, and later it led them to the assault.
