108-‘Mrityunjay’ Service observes World Environment Day

GUWAHATI: The 108-Mrityunjay’ team under EMRI Green Health Services took on the responsibility of conserving the environment by taking up the initiative of planting “1080” saplings across various districts of Assam on account of World Environment Day. The 108-”Mrityunjay” team stated that apart from the noble vision of “saving lives” through the 108 service, it is their moral and ethical responsibility to safeguard nature and the environment that surrounds us. And hence, to commemorate World Environment Day and also to mark the occasion of almost completing 15 years of the 108 service being operational in the state of Assam, “1080” tree saplings were successfully planted by the 108 team in various districts like Kamrup (M), Kamrup (R), Darrang, and Sontipur, to name a few, stated a press release.
