CRPF 128 Batallion distributes relief materials in Paltan Bazar, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The CRPF 128 Batallion distributed various Corona relief items including sanitizers, surgical masks, hand wash and groceries to more than 300 poor and needy people in Paltan Bazar area, here on Monday. 128 Bn commandant Surjit Kumar Atri said that the CRPF is always ready for public service and their help apart from their basic duties of maintenance of law and order situation. The main motive to organize the program is to control epidemic effectively and make good relationship between the general public and the Force. He also intimated that administration will take strict action against such persons who do not observe home quarantine guidelines. During the program Bimal Raj C. (Second in command), Birendra Singh Yadav (DC), Om Kumar Gupta (AC), Navin Kumar Jha (AC) of 128 Bn were present among others, stated a release.
