Guwahati: Bike Lifter Arrested From Zoo Road
The accused, Md. Jeherul Ali was arrested from Zoo Road by the Geetanagar Police, Guwahati. Ali belongs to Tamulpur of Baksa district, Assam.

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off,the Geetanagar Police nabbed abike lifter who was trying to steal a bike from the Zoo Road area on Sunday. The accused has been identified as Md. Jeherul Ali (24) of Tamulpur under Baksa district. According to reports, one of Ali's accomplices managed to escape. The police have recovered on motorcycle, four live rounds of .32 pistol and its magazine, and one wire cutting tool from the accused.
