Assam Police Exam Date 2022: The recruitment exams for various posts in Assam police will be held from February 27, 2022, to April 24, 2022, informed the state police recruitment board on Tuesday.
The State Level Police Recruitment Board said that the written test will be taken for a total of 4,271 vacant posts of Constable AB (Armed Branch) and a total of 2,391 posts of Constable UB (Unarmed Branch) in the Assam police.
The examination will also be held to choose candidates for a total of 788 vacancies of Constable in F&ES (Fire & Emergency Services), 813 posts of Constable in APRO (Assam Police Radio Organisation), Constable/Guardsman posts under DGCD (Directorate General of Civil Defence) and CGHG (Commandant General of Home Guards).
A written test is also meant for the selection of candidates for 154 vacant posts of Constable in AISF Battalions but only for SPOs under Directorate General of Civil Defence and Commandant General of Home Guards.
The board further informed through the notification that a combined written examination will be conducted for selecting candidates for 320 posts of Sub Inspector AB (Armed Branch) in Assam Commando and a total of 306 Sub Inspector UB (Unarmed Branch) posts in Assam Police.
A combined test will be held for 10 vacant posts of Junior Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence under Directorate General of Civil Defence and Commandant General of Home Guards.
The notice reads that a combined written examination will be taken by the state police recruitment board for the selection of candidates for 1,429 posts of Constable (AB) and 705 posts of Constable (UB) in Assam Police.
The candidates about to appear in the written examination must start preparation to get selected in different posts under Assam Police. Very few days are left for preparation as the exam is scheduled to be held by the end of next month.
