Applications are invited from eligible (Ex-Serviceman) candidates for recruitment of Armed Guard in subordinate cadre in Punjab National Bank for their Currency Chests/ Branches at the East Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills districts in the state of Meghalaya. Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria for Armed Guard Vacancy:

Eligibility Criteria:-

•  Passed X Standard or its equivalent and not studied beyond XII standard with basic readingi/writing knowledge in English.
• Minimum Service required: 15 years
• Medical Category as per Discharge Book: SHAPE-I
• Rank: Substantive Naik/ Havildar
• Character: Exemplary
• Medical Certificate from Govt. Hospital or from bank's authorized doctor on the format to be submitted by the candidates at the time of physical Test.

Domicile:- The eligible candidates should be the domicile of that district for which vacancies have been notified/published. Proof of permanent residence or registration with District Employment Exchange as a proof of domicile.
