One baby, three fathers as three men claims to be the father of a newborn in Kolkata

Kolkata: In a weird incident taking place in Kolkata, three men have created a sensation by claiming to be the father of a newborn baby. In an incident of a woman giving birth to a baby girl at a south Kolkata hospital, three men have appeared in the scene to claim to be the father of the newborn.

Each man of the three has come to claim that he is the husband of the woman and eventually is the father of the baby. The nuisance created by these three men and their weird claims even compelled the hospital management to call the cops and solve the issue.

However, the issue was settled on the arrival of the police as they could resolve the delicate issue of the woman’s marriage.

It was an issue of last Saturday when a pregnant woman aging 21 years, came to the IRIS Hospital for her delivery accompanied by her mother and a man. She was admitted in the hospital at around 6.30pm and the man who came along her filled up the hospital form to be her husband. He even paid the hospital bill in advance as well. In the meantime, the pregnant woman was taken into the operation theatre for her delivery.

Things were going so far until the second man appears in the scene claiming to the husband of the woman and would-be-father of the baby. He even wanted to meet the woman as well. But as the woman was unconscious and inside the operation theatre, the second man was taken to meet the family by the hospital staff and there created the problem. Both the men, claiming to be the woman’s husband started fighting physically. This made the hospital staff to call the police and the police asked the two to furnish their marriage certificate. The second and returned on Sunday with the marriage certificate and this made the first man to confess that he was just a ‘friend’ of the woman.

But this was not the end of the issue and the mother of the woman claimed that the second man is not her son-in-law. However, amidst all these, a third man comes and claims that he is not married to the woman but is the father of the baby. The drama came to an end only when the mother could give her statement on the issue. The woman finally confirms that the second man is her real husband and the father of the newborn baby.
