Coronavirus is Killing Humans but Healing Everything Else, says Kangana Ranaut

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, considered to be the Queen of Controversy in Bollywood is once in the news for making remarks on the coronavirus situation that's currently demonizing India.

She took to Twitter making statements like coronavirus is killing humans but healing everything else. Her recent statements on Twitter have evoked strong reactions from the people.

She called the coronavirus a 'self-made' virus which made it look to the Twitterati that she is looking for a silver lining in this situation.

She tweeted, "Today humans are traumatized by a self-made virus which they used to bring each other's economies down. Some may agree with what I say some may not but one thing no one can deny is that the Earth is healing, the virus may be killing humans but healing everything else."

In another tweet, she appeared to be giving advice to the people as to how to treat this planet better and contain the spread of this deadly infection. "Let's be gentle to her 1) each one of us must plant 8 trees a year 2) stop breeding like rabbits 3) avoid single used plastic 4)Don't waste food 5) be aware of idiots around you take responsibility cause you could be living wisely but if not handled they will destroy you." Although her tweets garnered a lot of likes, they did not age well with a lot of people. Many Twitterati showed their displeasure on the social media platform accusing her of "romanticizing" this pandemic which proved to be fatal for countless lives.

"Romanticizing the pandemic which has destroyed thousands of families in the country Where does Kangana draw the line?" read a tweet.

"Yes. Please casually say that the virus might be killing humans like it's nothing to people who lost their family members due to it. It's easy to preach about healing when you are not losing your livelihood due to it," wrote another Twitter user.

Meanwhile, India reported 2,73,810 fresh new Covid-19 cases, making it the fifth straight day that India has recorded more than 2 lakh Covid cases in 24 hours.
