Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC) conducts awareness drive

TEZU: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC), in collaboration with the office of the Superintendent of Police, Lohit district, organized a day-long awareness programme on road safety at the College Auditorium here on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering, college principal Dr Kangki Megu said that the students should follow the rules and regulations prepared by the State and Central Government on road safety.

He further appealed to the students that they should follow the safety measures and become an agent to spread the message to the larger society.

Meanwhile, SP Ankit Singh made a power point presentation on road safety and cyber crime, where he deliberated on the safety measures in driving vehicles and on approaching the road.

He advised the student community to be vigilant in knowing about the cyber crimes, the modus operandi of the cyber frauds and how one can avoid these crimes. Among others, the programme was attended by officers and staff of the police department of the Lohit district, faculties and students of the college.
