142 Bn, CRPF celebrates 'Ganesh Chaturthi' in Golaghat
The 142 Bn of CRPF celebrated ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ at the premises of the Unit Head Quarter, Jonaki Nagar here on Friday to pay obeisance to Lord Ganesh.

GOLAGHAT: The 142 Bn of CRPF celebrated 'Ganesh Chaturthi' at the premises of the Unit Head Quarter, Jonaki Nagar here on Friday to pay obeisance to Lord Ganesh. This festival is being celebrated by this unit with religious fervour. On this occasion, a new statue of Lord Ganesh was installed and special prayers were performed along with 'Havan' and distribution of 'prasad' to all personnel. The occasion was graced by Commandant -142 Bn Bhart Kumar Vaishnav, Second-in-Command Neraj Kumar Singh, Deputy Commandant Jugal Kumar Sarma, Subordinate Officers and Jawans were present. Bharat Kumar Vaishnav wished good health to all on the auspicious occasion of 'Ganesh Chaturthi'. Thereafter 'Bara Khana' programme was organized at Unit Quarter as well as at all Companies' locations.
