3,000 litres of illicit liquor destroyed by Gaurisagar Police in Namtial area

GAURISAGAR: A team of Gaurisagar police station destroyed more than 3,000 litres of illicit liquor in the Namtial area under Gaurisagar police station in Sivasagar district on Sunday morning. The sale of illicit liquor has been rising day by day at different places under Gaurisagar police station, like Deoraja, Dikshu, Mantania, Abhoipuria, and Jaradhara, putting the social atmosphere at risk of degradation.
