MORIGAON: The 42nd Biennial Conference of the All Assam Police Association commenced on Saturday in Morigaon. The two-day event inaugurated on Saturday morning, will conclude on June 15 in the presence of Director General of Police (DGP) Harmit Singh. The day began with the hoisting of the flag by Shukla Kakati, executive president of the All Assam Police Association. A seminar on the topic “Youth Disorder, Parental Responsibility and the Role of the Police” was held on Saturday morning. The Editor-in-Chief of ND24, Rajdeep Bailung Barua, attended as the chief speaker. In his address, he emphasized the crucial role of parents in a child’s education and upbringing. Among the dignitaries present at Saturday’s event were Morigaon Deputy Commissioner Devashish Sharma, Morigaon Superintendent of Police Hemanta Kumar Das, and Assistant Inspector General (Administration) of Assam Police Pranab Jyoti Goswami, along with several others.
