Advantage Assam 2.0: ABSU president Dipen Boro hails PM Modi for landmark projects

KOKRAJHAR: The All-Bodo Students Union (ABSU) expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi for his unwavering commitment to the development of Assam and BTR as well through Advantage Assam 2.0. President of ABSU Dipen Boro said that under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, the transformative projects continue to shape the future of the region.

Boro also conveyed special gratitude to the Minister of Railways and Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw for announcing Rs 300 crore for the setting up of Railway Manufacturing Industry in BTR, as per listed in the BTR Agreement, 2020, and the extension of a new railway route from Kokrajhar to Gelephu, Bhutan, the proposed location of Bhutan’s dream project, Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), which is adjacent to Dadgari in Chirang district of BTR, at the Advantage Assam 2.0. He also said that these landmark projects will play a crucial role in enhancing connectivity, strengthening infrastructure and accelerating economic growth in the state and BTR. He further said that improved railway networks will create new opportunities for trade, tourism, and employment, benefiting the people of BTR immensely.

Dipen Boro also extended his thanks to Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma for organizing Advantage Assam 2.0, a platform that continues to bring transformative investments to the state. He also said this was a proud moment for BTR and with such visionary initiatives, the region moves closer to a brighter and more prosperous future.
