Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit: 50 MoUs with 45 entrepreneurs signed in Biswanath

BISWANATH CHARIALI: In line with the ‘Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit,’ the Biswanath District Administration, in collaboration with the District Industries and Commerce Centre, hosted a district-level MOU-signing ceremony today at the Conference Hall of DC Office, Biswanath to facilitate business expansion with local entrepreneurs.

Munindra Nath Ngatey, District Commissioner, Biswanath, elaborated in detail about the benefits of entrepreneurship for economic growth and development. He emphasized on fostering competitiveness amongst the businessmen of the district which would lead to manufacturing of better products as well as rendering of better services. He further instructed all officers present to bear a business-friendly approach towards entrepreneurs for promoting business in the district.

Fifty Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) with 45 entrepreneurs and an investment-intent of Rs 19,904 lakh were signed in the programme. Investors along with Arup Pathak, CEO, Zila Parishad, Lukumoni Borah, Co-DC, Gohpur, Hriday Kumar Das, ADC (Revenue) Biswanath, Ranjan Borah, General Manager, DI and CC, heads of concerned departments, senior dignitaries from district administration, and others were also present on the occasion.
