Ajay Kumar Gogoi takes charge as President of Sivasagar District Congress

DEMOW: Ajay Kumar Gogoi, newly-appointed President of Sivasagar District Congress Committee, was given a warm welcome in Demow on Friday. The Congress workers took out a bike rally from the residence of Ajay Kumar Gogoi in Demow Dehajan to Sivasagar on Friday. Gogoi first took blessings in Sivasagar Shiva Dol and from there reached the Sivasagar Rajiv Bhawan and took charge as President of Sivasagar District Congress Committee in the presence of the Congress workers. He was accompanied by Debabrata Saikia, Leader of Opposition, Assam Legislative Assembly, as well as MLA of Nazira constituency, and other party leaders.
