KOKRAJHAR: In a significant development, the Education Department of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) announced the results of the Medical Entrance Examination for the 2025-26 academic session under the Bodofa UN Brahma Super-50 Plus Mission. The announcement was made during a press conference held on Thursday.

The press meet took place at the Boro Land Guest House, Kokrajhar. Executive Member of BTC’s Education Department Wilson Hasda, along with Education Secretary Amarjyoti Barman, addressed the media and shared key information regarding the initiative. They stated that under the Bodofa Super Fifty+ Mission, meritorious and interested candidates were selected through a competitive entrance examination for medical coaching for the 2025-26 session. A total of 50 deserving students have been selected based on merit.

In addition to the core 50 students, the BTC Education Department has also made a commendable decision to include 16 more aspiring medical candidates. These additional students come from underrepresented communities residing within the BTC region. This move ensures inclusivity and equal opportunity for all communities in the pursuit of medical education.

The announcement has been welcomed widely and marks another step forward in BTC’s commitment to educational empowerment and nurturing future healthcare professionals from the region.
