Assam: BTR Government and NTPC Sign MoU for Youth Empowerment

The Government of BTR and NTPC Limited signed an MoU in the presence of BTC Chief Pramod Boro and NTPC HoP Arnav Maitra to promote social empowerment and employment for local youth.

KOKRAJHAR: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday was signed between the Government of BTR and the NTPC Limited in the presence of Chief of BTC Pramod Boro and Head of Project (HoP) of the NTPC Arnav Maitra for social empowerment and employment generation for youths of the region. The NTPC is a partnership that marks another milestone in the commitment of BTR to sustainable development and social empowerment.

CEM of BTC Pramod Boro said that under this MoU, NTPC will collaborate with BTC in Bodoland youth employment mission through the establishment of a space education lab, equipping youth with advanced learning opportunities, boat ambulance service at Khutabagra to combat home deliveries and reduce maternal and infant mortality in the remote riverine areas and promotion of eri silk and handloom model village initiative in Raimona National Park, fostering traditional craftsmanship and rural entrepreneurship. He also said that this partnership with the NTPC reaffirms their shared vision of holistic development, blending innovation with tradition to uplift communities across BTR.
