Assam: Buds Public School Tinsukia Celebrates 60th Anniversary with Diamond Jubilee Events

TINSUKIA: Buds Public School of Tinsukia has completed its glorious 60 years. Many programs are being organized by the school to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee Year.

In this sequence, a science and art and craft exhibition was organized in the school today, which was inaugurated by Dr Mukut Gohain, India’s first antibiotic inventor approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). On this occasion, as special guests, writer Phatik Chand Neog, Managing Trustee of Saraswat Trust and Principal of Tinsukia Law College Sanjay Khaitan, and Principal of the school Sulakshana Barua were present. The programs started with floral tributes to the school’s founder, educationist Late BK Saraswat.

Dr Mukut Gohain inaugurated the science exhibition and encouraged the students by acknowledging minute details about their projects. He told all the students who made the projects that in future, all of them will have great achievements.  “There is potential to become an inventor, what is required is perseverance and dedication,” observed Dr Gohain. He wished all the students a bright future.
