Morigaon: The Assam Cabinet approved Rs. 292 crore for overall infrastructure development of the district. The cabinet  has approved Rs.70 crore  for  the construction Balimukh-Sildubi connecting road (via Bhuragaon), Rs. 55 crore for Morigaon Town drainage  system, Rs. 15 crore has approved for  Morigaon Circuit House building, Rs. 5 crore for the construction of a stage at Junbeel Mela site, Rs. 5 crore for the completion  of the remaining  galleries and others  of Morigaon stadium, Rs. 5 crore has approved for construction of a  project at Jaluguti in the name of Ilram Das Bap and Rs. 20 crore for  construction of an Auditorium at Morigaon town in the name of Ilaram Das Bap, Rs. 1 crore has approved in the name of construction of a Tiwa  Sahitya Sabha Bhawan and a  Guest House at Mikirbheta, Rs. 3 crore for the infrustructure development of Kapahera Stadium, total 9 schools which have reached centenary have been approved Rs. 8 crore each and total 8 colleges have been  received 5 crore each in the name of infrustructure development  said  Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while addressing   media in the press meet of cabinet meeting  held in the DC's conference hall.
