MORIGAON: The Chief Electoral Officer of Assam, Anurag Goel, visited Morigaon on Thursday to review the ongoing training and orientation programme for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of the district. The training session was held at Ghana Kanta Baruah College, Morigaon. The two-day training programme commenced on July 16 and concluded on July 17 with active participation from 925 BLOs across the district. During his visit, Anurag Goel interacted with the trainees and emphasized the importance of BLOs in ensuring a free, fair, and inclusive electoral process. The review meeting was also attended by District Commissioner Anamika Tewari, co-district commissioners Hriday Kumar Das and Pranjal Barua, additional district commissioners Sulakshana Borpatrogohain and Nitisha Borah, along with other senior officials.
