Assam: Change of origination/termination of few trains

GUWAHATI: In view of temporary closure of Dibrugarh Town station for rebuilding of Mancotta ROB and railway electrification works, few trains whose origination and termination stations were earlier changed from Dibrugarh Town station to Dibrugarh station upto September 6, have been extended further till September 30, 2023.

Accordingly, Train no. 12424 (New Delhi - Dibrugarh) Rajdhani Express commencing journey from September 5-September 30 will depart from New Delhi at 16:20 hours to reach Dibrugarh at 06:00 hours. Train no. 12423 (Dibrugarh - New Delhi) Rajdhani Express commencing journey from 07th till 30th September, 2023 will depart from Dibrugarh at 20:55 hours to reach New Delhi at 10:30 hours.

Train no. 15669 (Guwahati - Dibrugarh) Nagaland Express commencing journey from September 6-September 30 will depart from Guwahati at 20:45 hours to reach Dibrugarh at 10:30 hours. Train no. 15670 (Dibrugarh - Guwahati) Nagaland Express commencing journey from 07th till 30th September, 2023 will depart from Dibrugarh at 14:05 hours to reach Guwahati at 03:15 hours.

Train no. 05916 (Dibrugarh - Simaluguri Jn.) Passenger Special commencing journey from 07th till 30th September, 2023 will depart from Dibrugarh at 17:35 hours to reach Simaluguri Jn. at 20:05 hours. Train no. 05915 (Simaluguri Jn. - Dibrugarh) Passenger Special commencing journey from 07th till 30th September, 2023 will depart from Simaluguri Jn. at 06:25 hours to Dibrugarh reach at 08:45 hours.

Further, train no. 07902/07903 (Ledo - Dibrugarh Town - Ledo) DEMU Special which was extended up to Murkongselek via Chaulkhowa - Dibrugarh by skipping Dibrugarh Town station from 07th May to 06th September, 2023 is further extended to run till 30th September, 2023. Train no. 07902 (Ledo - Murkongselek) DEMU Special will depart from Ledo at 06:45 hours to reach Murkongselek at 12:15 hours. In return direction, train no. 07903 (Murkongselek - Ledo) DEMU Special will depart from Murkongselek at 15:30 hours to reach Ledo at 21:00 hours. The operation of this train is benefitting the passengers of a part of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh by facilitating for smooth travel experience between the North and the South banks of the Brahmaputra, stated a press release.
