Assam: DHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa hosts Pre-Bushu celebration

HAFLONG: Aiming to transmit the true spirit of their own culture and tradition among the youths and also to encourage them, Chief Executive Member of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa organized Pre-Bushu at his official residence on Sunday.

More than two hundred students of Ringkhu Damsa, in presence of their parents, took part in various competitions. The celebration also showcased immense enthusiasm and commitment to preserving and promoting the essence of Bushu. Their involvement was a clear reminder of the importance of passing down the cultural heritage to future generations.

The event also emphasized the need to stay connected with the roots, celebrating not only the festivities but the deep cultural values embedded in Bushu. CEM Gorlosa said, “It was an inspiring experience that highlighted the importance of preserving our identity, especially through the involvement of our youth.” He also appealed to all the people to remain connected with the roots and to encourage their children in cultural and traditional activities. Bina Hakmaosa of Dibarai Mahila Samity expressed her gratitude to CEM Gorlosa for his encouragement and support to them in preserving the rich culture and traditions through the celebration of Bushu.
