Assam: Dhemaji To Get New Circuit House Building, Education Minister Ranoj Pegu Shares Design

DHEMAJI: A new Circuit House building will be constructed in Assam's Dhemaji, replacing the old, dilapidated structure. The decision to construct the modern facility has been taken as part of efforts to improve the infrastructure and provide proper accommodation facilities for the government authorities and visitors.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, the government of Assam had said that it will built a life-size statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar outside the state secretariat in Guwahati by August 15, 2025. This will be a part of the celebration that also upholds his vision of justice, liberty, and fraternity, which the government intends to adhere to.

The statue would serve to be an important landmark whose central theme reminds people of the contributions of Ambedkar to Indian society and the values he presented for so long.

Though the dimensions and design of the statue have not been unveiled, officials stated that more details will be given out in the next few days. This project is part of a larger agenda of the Assam government in order to pay homage to prominent Indian personalities and their contributions towards society.
