Assam: Fire breaks out at stationery shop in Demow market

DEMOW: A fire erupted in a shop situated in the Demow central market on Tuesday afternoon. According to information received, the fire broke out in SD Wow Interior, a stationery shop. When the people failed to control the fire, the fire brigade was informed which came and doused it. Items worth around Rs 70,000 were burnt down in the fire which was suspected to have started due to a short circuit in the shop.
