Assam: Four-Wheeler Crashes into Tree in Bongaigaon, No Injuries Reported

A road accident took place near the flying bridge of Chaparakata in Bongaigaon district when a four-wheeler lost control and crashed into a tree on the roadside. No injuries were reported.

Bongaigaon: A road accident took place near the flying bridge of Chaparakata in Bongaigaon district when a four-wheeler lost control and crashed into a tree on the roadside. However, no injuries were reported due to the accident.

Earlier this month, major accident occurred on the Silchar-Aizawl National Highway (NH-306) in Saptagram, leaving a motorcyclist severely injured. A speeding car collided with the motorcycle, causing the rider to fall onto the road.

Local residents rushed to help and took the injured man to Silchar Medical College and Hospital. Following the accident, an angry mob began vandalizing vehicles, creating tension in the area. Police were alerted and arrived promptly, managing to control the situation and restore order.

In another incident, a tragic road accident took place in Jagiroad night, claiming the life of a motorcyclist. Ankur Deuri, a railway employee from Bangalbari Village No. 1 in Baghjap, was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Tarangapar. He was severely injured and rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Additionally, a fatal accident occurred on the Nahat-Rajabari road near Demow on Sunday. An EECO car (AS 04 AH 2844) lost control and crashed into a culvert while heading towards Demow.

Eight passengers sustained minor injuries, but a child suffered critical head trauma. Despite being rushed to Demow Model Hospital, the child was declared dead by doctors.
