TEZPUR: National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar Centre, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, in association with Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, National Career Service Centre for SC/ST, Naharlagun, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, EDUPUR, Employment Services Private Limited, Tezpur and M/s Placement cum Security Agency, Itanagar organized a Job Fair 2023 “Yuva Rojgar Manch”- Sashakt Yuva, Sashakt Rashtra at the premises of Dera Natung Government College, Vivek Vihar, Itanagar.

The job fair was aimed at to provide a platform for placement opportunity to the various job seekers who have been trained through NIELIT & NCS for SC/ST in different courses in IT, Electronics etc. The job fair was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. M.Q. Khan, Principal, Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Dhiman Bhattacharjee, Assistant Director, Department of Labour & Employment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, senior journalist Dip Kumar Kalita and others.

Dr. M.Q. Khan, Principal, Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, while addressing the candidates motivated them with his inspiring speech and was highly overwhelmed with the response of the recruiters and jobseekers. He also thanked NIELIT and other stakeholders for organizing the event in the state capital at the venue of the DNGC, Itanagar.

Dhiman Bhattacharjee, Assistant Director, Department of Labour & Employment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, advised the jobseekers for grabbing the opportunities provided in the job fair and conveyed his best wishes to all.

Amit Raj Konwar, Director & CO, Edupur Group, Tezpur, Assam, while anchoring the entire event and the inauguration programme briefed the jobseekers about the process for appearing in the interview, provided tips about soft skills and communication skills, body language and etiquettes.

Senior Journalist Dip Kumar Kalita as a resource person during his speech addressing the job seekers offered advice on how to handle interviews and, if extended by recruiters, accept offers in order to obtain work experience.

Rintu Das, Director In-charge, NIELIT Itanagar expressed his gratitude to the Principal, Dera Natung Government College for providing moral and logistics support in arranging the job fair. Out of 200 candidates, 41 candidates were shortlisted.
