KOKRAJHAR: The highly anticipated Gunotsav 2025, a state-wide education reform initiative aimed at improving the quality of education, started on Monday in Chirang district. The initiative will run until Wednesday and will involve 915 schools across the district, with over 64,677 students participating in this transformative process.
Sources from Chirang DIPRO said that on the second day, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Minister for Handloom, Textile & Sericulture, Soil Conservation, and Welfare of Bodoland department, who is also the Guardian Minister, visited schools, namely Borobazar Higher Secondary School, Borobazar KGVB, and Charagaon ME School to engage with students and faculty.
Minister Brahma was accompanied by District Commissioner of Chirang Jatin Bora and ADC i/c Bijni (C) Kriti Chachra, who also visited the schools to support the initiative and ensure its successful implementation.
