SILCHAR: In a groundbreaking initiative underscoring the government’s commitment to ensuring food security and public welfare, the Cachar district administration is gearing up for the ceremonial distribution of new ration cards. Scheduled on December 22, this transformative event will take place simultaneously across various locations, marking a new chapter in inclusive governance and efficient public service delivery.

The programme, scheduled to begin at 11:00am, will take place at several key locations, including Lakhipur Block Development Complex, Fulertal, DNHS School Playground Udharbond ,Lakhipur G.P. Office Field, Katigorah,Dalu H.S. School Playground, Borkhola, Gandhi Mela Math, Trunk Road, Silchar, Moinul Haque Choudhury Smriti Mukta Mancha, Sonai, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Mukta Mancha , Dholai.

Each venue will witness the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including ministers, Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha), MLAs, and other eminent personalities.
