GAURISAGAR: Phatik Dutta, a noted educationist, social worker, and resident of Khanamukh Charingia Village under Jorhat district passed away on Monday due to old age-related ailment. He was 99.

Late Phatik Dutta was the headmaster of Chintamoni Khatuwal LP School. As a well-known educationist who taught many students in the Khanamukh and Chintamonigarh areas, he was actively associated with various local organizations.

His demise was widely mourned. Various organizations like Chintamoni Khatuwal LP school, Simaluguri Anchalik Moina Parijat, Khanamukh Deepjyoti Natyagosthi, Khanamukh HS School, Khanamukh High School, Khanamukh Sakha Xahitya Xabha, Srimanta Sankardev Kala Krishti Kendra, Chintamonigarh High School, Chitamonigarh ME School, Chintamonigarh Kala Krishti Kendra, Khanamukh, and Bhagamukh Bibasayee Santha expressed their deepest condolences. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, one daughter, and other relatives.
