GOLAGHAT: Preparations for Pulibor Rongali Bihu sanmilan is underway at the Pulibor Rangmanch. The bihu sanmilan will be held on May 4 and 5, organized by Pulibor Lachit Jironi Chora.
The bihu sanmilan aims to promote the cultural heritage of the region. Various activities have been planned, including traditional dance performances, music, and competitions. The event will feature a range of cultural performances, including Bihu dance and music. Profulla Rajkumar, renowned social worker, Dr Dayananda Borgohain, esteemed scholar, Ajanta Neog, local MLA and Minister of Finance, Women, and Child Development, and Professor G Singhaya, Vice-Chancellor of Bhrangona Sati Sadani State University, will take part as guests of the programme.
For smoothly conducting the bihu sanmilan, an organizing committee was already formed with Papu Konwar as President, Ankur Raj Konwar and Partha Pratim Konwar as working presidents, Pritam Konwar and Diganta Gogoi as joint secretaries, and Jatin Konwar and Kiran Saikia as treasurers.
The bihu sanmilan will provide a platform for the community to come together and celebrate their cultural heritage.
