SIVASAGAR: In solidarity with global protests against the persecution of minority Hindus in Bangladesh, a large-scale demonstration was organized in Sivasagar. The protest was led by the Hindu Lok Jagaran Mancha, drawing significant participation from local residents.
A massive rally was held from the Boarding Field to Dolmukh Chariali in Sivasagar town, where protesters marched with banners and slogans, demanding justice and protection for the persecuted Hindus in Bangladesh.
The demonstrators submitted a memorandum to the Government of India through the Sivasagar Revenue Circle Officer, urging the Indian Government to ensure the safety and security of Hindus in Bangladesh.
Additionally, the protesters called upon the United Nations to impose restrictions on Bangladesh and demanded the unconditional release of Chinmoy Krishna Das, who has been a victim of recent violence.
