Assam: Public gheraos APDCL office in Jamugurihat over power woes

JAMUGURIHAT: The aggrieved customers of Jamuguri sub-division of APDCL gheraoed the Manager of Jamuguri sub-division of APDCL on Friday at his office premises. The representative team of Naduar Nagarik Mancha including Jagat Saikia, president, mintu nath, secretary, Minku Kalita, assistant secretary, along with the general public gheraoed the APDCL office located at Shantipur and demanded immediate enhancement of the voltage capacity of power supply of the office. The team finally submitted a memorandum to the manager to mitigate all issues pertaining to power supply. The irregularity of power supply in the name of load shedding and frequent power cuts have irked the general public of the area.
