DHUBRI : Like every year, this year too, Shyam Parivar Seva Trust organized a day-long colourful programme to celebrate “Shri Shyam Phagun Mahotsav” at Shri Radha-Krishna Thakur Bari on Wednesday.

As a part of the programme, “Nishan Yatra” was taken out from Shri Hanuman Mandir premises to Shri Radha-Krishna Thakur Bari passing through Barpeta Road market in the morning. Nearly three hundred devotees participated in the Nishan Yatra, carrying flags in their hands.

In the afternoon, Bhog was offered to Shyam Baba, and Prasad was distributed among the devotees. In the evening, two brothers, Piyush and Ayush, invited from Siliguri, West Bengal, enthralled the devotees with Shyam Baba’s bhajans.

Finally, the programme concluded with Shyam Baba’s Aarti, said Gopal Maheshwari, president of Shyam Parivar Seva Trust.
