Goalpara: In a bid to ensure the smooth, free, and fair conduct of the NEET exam in Goalpara district’s five centres, the district administration convened a preparatory meeting on Thursday at the DC’s conference hall under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Khanindra Choudhury.
The nationwide NEET examination is scheduled to be held on May 4, with 1,907 students from the district set to appear across five exam centres: PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Goalpara, Goalpara College, PR Government HS and MP School, Dudhnoi College, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dudhnoi.
The meeting featured detailed discussions on the exam guidelines, rules, and regulations. It was attended by ADCs Arun Kumar Brahma and Nabajeet Pathak, the city coordinator and principal of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Shiv Prakash Sarma, centre superintendents, their deputies, and other officials assigned for duty.
The DC instructed all concerned officers to take necessary precautionary measures, including security arrangements, to ensure the hassle-free and successful conduct of this important examination.
