CHARAIDEO: A one-day training session on SAANs for CHOs, ANMs, and ASHAs was successfully held today, aiming to enhance maternal and child health services. The training equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills to improve healthcare delivery.

The inaugural session was attended by the Joint Director of Health Services, Charaideo, who highlighted the importance of strengthening community-level healthcare initiatives.

Key officials, including the DPM, DCM, and DME, also attended the event and emphasized the role of SAANs in improving healthcare services at the grassroots level. The training is expected to contribute to better healthcare outcomes in the region.

Meanwhile, a free health camp was organized for the first time in Nagaon by the Eastern Stone and Kidney Foundation and the Institute of Urology at the Nagaon Lions Club Service Center on the occasion of Maghi Purnima.

Dr. Arup Kumar Nath and Dr. Bikash Choudhury served as specialist physicians, overseeing various tests for urine-related issues, kidney stones, prostate gland problems, and more. Many patients attended the camp, benefiting from the medical services provided. Key figures such as Ajay Mittal, President of Nagaon Lions Club, Hardarshan Singh, Secretary, and others were also present to support the event.

Earlier this month, a free health check-up camp for senior citizens was held at Bir Raghav Moran Government Model College, Rupaisiding, on Friday, organized in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Doomdooma, RC Agarwal Multi-speciality Hospital, and 30-Bedded FRU Hospital. The camp offered specialized medical services, benefiting 285 patients under the care of a team of doctors.
