Assam: Two injured in road accident in Bokakhat

Two bike riders were seriously injured today in a road accident on National Highway 37 at Lakhoujan under Bokakhat Police Station.

BOKAKHAT: Two bike riders were seriously injured today in a road accident on National Highway 37 at Lakhoujan under Bokakhat Police Station. The injured bike riders have been identified as Papu Sahu and Suraj Gowala from Daigrong, Golaghat. Reports indicate that Papu Sahu is in critical condition.

The accident occurred due to a head-on collision between a Royal Enfield bike (registration number AS03AE7646) heading from Bokakhat towards Daigrong and an oil tanker (registration number WB23F7773). The tanker involved in the accident was seized by Bokakhat traffic police, and the injured individuals were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment.
